About the event
Join us for a community letter-writing event focused on protecting the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) from privatization. TVA has served our region for over 90 years, providing public power, jobs, and environmental stewardship. Recent political pressure threatens to privatize TVA, risking higher energy costs, job losses, and diminished public accountability.
We’ll write to our elected officials urging them to oppose efforts to sell off TVA’s assets and to stand up for transparent, community-centered energy governance. Refreshments and all letter writing materials will be provided.
